Glow Worm Dell Hokitika

Located on State Highway 6 roadside at the northern town entrance to Hokitika, this Glow worm Dell is a must visit when you are in our region. A 50 meter track leads to the Glow worm Dell and it is 5 minutes return, making this a super short walk suitable for anyone. 

Side note: It MUST be DARK in order to see the Glow worms as they are not in a cave system. Parking is available right outside of the Dell, but you are able to walk here from the town.

Our glow worm dell has often been described as ‘The best in New Zealand’ outside of a cave environment, which makes this even more special!
