West Coast Horse Adventures

West Coast Horse Adventures provide horse treks on the stunning West Coast of New Zealand in Charleston.

You have the option of two treks which will take you through our beautiful native bush. One to a bluff that you can explore and the other to the local beach across the road from our property. Should you wish we provide a custom ride if you are not wanting to be part of a group trek.

Buller Gorge Comet Line

Try a ride high above the river on this high speed Comet Line. This 160m flying fox or zip line ride is suitable for all ‘young at heart’ ages. Comfortably seated and safely strapped in, you’ll love the sensation. Take the ride together with a friend – the more weight on the ride the faster it goes! Suitable for all ages. A great ride for couples or parents with children.

Buller Canyon Jet Boating

Your 40 minute trip will take you between pink granite rocks, through beautiful native forest to explore quiet creeks, swimming with trout before spinning round and heading upstream to the spectacular white water of the Ariki Falls.

The driver will pull over at Deep Creek to allow you to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the river, interrupted only by the calls of the native birds, before relating a short story of the early explorers, goldminers and the natural history of the area.
